It’s not actually called that, but since he uses it so often it should be. In his method of greeting world leaders, he always hold a firm grip and does not let go in normal time.
The handshake gesture originated from being a sign that both participants where unarmed, but Trump’s masculine handshake twisted to the side gives a stern message to show that he is the dominate partner.
