My bet would go to Lake Karachay.
The Soviet Union used to dump all their nuclear waste and radioactive substances into this one lake.
The radiation has resulted in the unnatural coloration you see in the picture above.
Furthermore, all fish that preside in the lake have developed weird mutations and deformities.
The lake is so radioactive that standing close to it will kill you in one hour.
Crazy stuff.
Also, I would like to address several comments made on this answer. Yes, this lake does no longer exist, as it has been filled with concrete. Furthermore, when I say that all nuclear waste was dumped in this one lake, I meant to say all the waste from the nearby nuclear plant.
