Facts about Denmark

Denmark.
  1. You get paid to go to school. Yep. You heard that right. Starting from when you are 18, you get paid to go to school. Around 200 dollars, though it depends on how rich your parents are, if you already earn money and if you live alone. Also, education is free here in Denmark. You don’t have to work your ass off the rest of your life because of your college bills.
  2. Free healthcare. You have probably heard all about this oh so great healthcare system we have. But it gets better. In some districts, if you are under 25, you get free psychological help as well! We don’t care if it is a broken leg or depression, we will treat you regardless.
  3. You get paid for being jobless. I do not know if the US has something similar, but here in Denmark you get paid if you are jobless. Around 1000–2000 dollars. This ensures that if you get fired, you won’t have to worry about feeding your children. It also ensures that there aren’t many poor people in Denmark.
You don’t just pay high taxes for the fun of it. You pay them to make sure you and your kids have a decent life, no matter what happens.
